Like many of my peers I began taking classes at a local dance studio at age four. As I grew up I took as many genres as I could and began competing in local arts festivals. I began assisting in classes and choreographing my own work at age 12. Outside of the studio I was involved in concert band, choir, classical voice lessons, and theatre. In my final year of high school I was recognized by the Pacific Northwest Music Festival as the Senior Most Outstanding Multidisciplinary Performer, earning the Cote Award for excellence in the Dance, Voice, and Speech Arts disciplines.
I have represented northwest BC twice at the BC Performing Arts Provincial Festival, both as a merited participant and as a delegate for Senior Ballet.
After graduating I started working as a freelance competition choreographer and studying at the University of Victoria. I’ve worked with both youth and adult dancers and enjoy spreading the joy of dance to all.
